SEO and AI visibility for doctors and dentistsBe found when patients ask, not just when they google.

For practices that want to appear on Google and in AI answers such as ChatGPT or Google's AI Overviews when someone in their area searches for a treatment. No trick, just content that search engines and AI systems can cite.

AI visibility: visibility that grows
Helps with these goals
Explained in three sentences

For a practice, SEO and AI visibility is the next stage of search engine optimisation, often called generative engine optimisation (GEO): the practice is not only found in the search results but also named in the answers Google, ChatGPT and Perplexity give to patient questions. This takes pages that answer questions clearly, a well-maintained Google Business Profile and mentions on other websites. It doesn't replace ads, but over time it makes them less necessary.

Where practices stand today

Today patients ask Google, and more and more often an AI: which dentist nearby does implants, what does it cost, who has good reviews? If your practice isn't in the answer, it doesn't exist for that search. In Germany, Google's AI Overviews have been live since March 2025 and AI Mode since October 2025.

What we do differently

We build pages that answer questions instead of piling up keywords: a clear definition for each service, prices and process, questions as subheadings. We also look after your Google Business Profile and work on getting you mentioned outside your website, because AI answers mostly cite third-party sources. Every month we check whether you appear in the answers.

When you don't need SEO and AI visibility

To be honest, there are cases where the money goes up in smoke. Then something else comes first.

Your website loads slowly or has no dedicated service pages.

Visibility without landing pages goes nowhere. Website first, then content.

First: Website and web design →

You need new enquiries within four weeks.

Visibility through content takes months. Under time pressure, ads are the bridge while the content is built up in parallel.

First: Google Ads →

You have fewer than ten Google reviews.

AI answers and Google Maps give weight to reviews. Build a base of reviews first, then expanding your visibility pays off.

First: Review management →

How it works

  1. 01

AI visibility check: we ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews about your specialty in your location and check your Google rankings

    Week 1

  2. 02

Topic plan: which questions your patients ask, which services need their own pages, what your Google profile is missing

    Week 2

  3. 03

Content: service pages, definitions, questions and answers, photos and profile upkeep, in your voice and in line with the HWG (German Healthcare Advertising Act)

    from week 3, ongoing

  4. 04

Measuring: every month, whether you are named in the answers, which pages bring visits and where to follow up

    monthly

What we automate, what stays human

Automated: ranking data, technical checks, the prompt set for AI answers and the monthly report run automatically.

Human: topics, copy and your professional perspective stay in human hands: no text goes live without your approval, and a named contact person reviews with you every month what is working.

What AI changes

An analysis by Seer Interactive from February 2026 shows that around 87 per cent of the sources ChatGPT cites come from the top 20 results on Google and Bing: classic visibility remains the entry ticket. At the same time, analyses by Muck Rack and MR Research show that 82 to 89 per cent of AI citations point to third-party editorial sources. That's why mentions outside your own website are part of the service.

What comes before, what comes after

Before: a website with dedicated service pages and a base of reviews. In parallel: Google Ads as a bridge until the content takes effect. After: creative content, so photos and videos show your practice as it really is. Reporting is always included.

Reporting is always included with us, not an extra.

FAQs on SEO and AI visibility

What is the difference between SEO and AI visibility?

SEO makes sure your page appears in the search results. AI visibility makes sure your practice is named in the answer that Google, ChatGPT or Perplexity gives. The foundation is the same: good content and a strong Google profile. What's new is structure, sources and mentions on other websites.

How quickly will I see results?

First improvements for individual search terms after three to six months, stable visibility usually after six to twelve months. It depends on the competition, your starting point and how quickly copy is approved.

What does AI visibility cost for a practice?

Between €1,200 and €6,000 per month, depending on the competition in your area and the scope. We give you the exact price after the free AI visibility check, where you first see whether and where your practice appears today.

Is local SEO still worthwhile for doctors?

Yes, more than ever. Your Google Business Profile with opening hours, services, photos and reviews is a main source for local recommendations, including in AI answers. Looking after it is part of our service.

Can I do this myself?

Parts of it, if you have time for copy, profile upkeep and analysis. Most practices hand it over because the effort is ongoing and the competition in their area never sleeps.

What is a practice actually allowed to write?

Anything that is factual and can be backed up. The German Healthcare Advertising Act (HWG) prohibits promises of cures, misleading comparisons and certain before and after images. We write every page with this in mind, and we only quote figures with a source.

Do you also do classic SEO for dentists?

Yes. Search engine optimisation for the search results is the foundation, and AI visibility builds on it. That includes a page for each treatment, a technically clean website, your Google Business Profile and content that answers patient questions.

Does this also apply to medical specialists and clinics?

Yes. The search terms differ, but the approach stays the same: one page per service, a well-maintained Google profile, genuine reviews and content with sources. For clinics, multiple locations and specialist departments come into play.
